Commissioner for Fundamental Rights Visits Border Control Post at Hercegszántó

On 15 January 2021, Dr. Ákos Kozma visited the border crossing point between Hercegszántó and Bački Breg (Béreg).

Accompanied by Chief Police Counsellor, Police Colonel László Arató, Head of Law Enforcement Directorate of the Bács-Kiskun County Police Headquarters, the Ombudsman inspected the control of traffic passing through the border, as well as the implementation of the healthcare measures adopted in connection with the coronavirus pandemic. Following that, the Commissioner for Fundamental Rights paid a visit to the temporary border fence at the Bács-Kiskun County section of the border, where he met with police officers and military forces personnel on duty.
