The European Network of National Human Rights Institutions (ENNHRI) held its high-level consultation on 5-6 February 2020 in Brussels.

On the first day of the meeting, the Office of the Commissioner for Fundamental Rights was represented by Secretary General dr. Réka Varga and Head of Secretariat dr. Zsuzsanna Binczki, whereas Commissioner dr. Ákos Kozma and Secretary General dr. Réka Varga attended the event on the second day.

The Commissioner for Fundamental Rights of Hungary, Dr. Ákos Kozma, visited the Vámosszabadi Reception Centre, operated by the National Directorate-General for Aliens Policing.
Dr. Kozma was joined by Dr. Domonkos Wildner, General Director for Police Complaints. They were welcomed by Brigadier General Dr. Sándor Gömbös, Director General of the Directorate-General for Aliens Policing.

On 29 October 2024, Dr. Ákos Kozma, Commissioner for Fundamental Rights of Hungary, and Dr. Elisabeth Sándor-Szalay, Deputy Commissioner for the Rights of National Minorities in Hungary, attended the meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on Nationalities in Hungary. The session focused on Report no. B/7848 on the activities of the Commissioner for Fundamental Rights of Hungary and his deputies in 2023.
