Ombudsman Visits Veszprém County Police Headquarters
On 16 November 2022, Dr. Ákos Kozma paid an official visit to the Veszprém County Police Headquarters, where he was accompanied by AJBH’s Police Complaints Director Dr. Domonkos Wildner.
The operation and key responsibilities of the Veszprém County Police Headquarters, the county’s current public security and crime situation, as well as the experience gained regarding the activity of the school guards serving in the county were in the focus of the meeting with Police Colonel, County Police Superintendent Balázs Dékány and the senior officers of the police headquarters. The participants of the meeting also reviewed the present status of the complaints submitted against police measures.

The Commissioner for Fundamental Rights of Hungary, Dr. Ákos Kozma, visited the Vámosszabadi Reception Centre, operated by the National Directorate-General for Aliens Policing.
Dr. Kozma was joined by Dr. Domonkos Wildner, General Director for Police Complaints. They were welcomed by Brigadier General Dr. Sándor Gömbös, Director General of the Directorate-General for Aliens Policing.

On 29 October 2024, Dr. Ákos Kozma, Commissioner for Fundamental Rights of Hungary, and Dr. Elisabeth Sándor-Szalay, Deputy Commissioner for the Rights of National Minorities in Hungary, attended the meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on Nationalities in Hungary. The session focused on Report no. B/7848 on the activities of the Commissioner for Fundamental Rights of Hungary and his deputies in 2023.
