Dr. Ákos Kozma Receives IOI European Regional President and Slovenian Ombudsman

On 16 March 2022, Commissioner for Fundamental Rights Dr. Ákos Kozma received in his Office Greek Ombudsman and President of the European Region of the International Ombudsman Institute (IOI) Mr. Andreas Pottakis and Slovenian Ombudsman Mr. Peter Svetina and his Deputy.

On 16 March 2022, Commissioner for Fundamental Rights Dr. Ákos Kozma received in his Office Greek Ombudsman and President of the European Region of the International Ombudsman Institute (IOI) Mr. Andreas Pottakis and Slovenian Ombudsman Mr. Peter Svetina and his Deputy.

During the meeting, Dr. Ákos Kozma presented the current situation at the Hungarian–Ukrainian border section, the circumstances of the reception of refugees arriving in Hungary from Ukraine, the measures taken to help them, and the operation of the temporary regional office of the Office of the Commissioner for Fundamental Rights set up in Záhony and the experience gained there so far.
