On 7 October 2021, Dr. Ákos Kozma paid a visit to the “Damjanich János” Barrack in Szentes. The Ombudsman was informed about the tasks of the Hungarian Defence Forces 37th “II. Rákóczi Ferenc” Engineer Regiment by Colonel László Antal, Regimental Commander.

Following the briefing given by the Regimental Commander, the Commissioner for Fundamental Rights, accompanied by Dr. Domonkos Wildner, Director of Police Complaints of the OCFR, watched a river crossing operation exercise on the River Tisza.

The Commissioner for Fundamental Rights of Hungary, Dr. Ákos Kozma, visited the Vámosszabadi Reception Centre, operated by the National Directorate-General for Aliens Policing.
