Visit to Baranya County Remand Prison
On 26 January 2021, Dr Ákos Kozma paid an official visit to the Baranya County Remand Prison, where the Commissioner for Fundamental Rights was received by National Commander of the Hungarian Prison Service, Counsellor, Major General Dr Tamás Tóth and Colonel, Counsellor, Prison Commander Zsolt Dékány.
On 26 January 2021, Dr Ákos Kozma paid an official visit to the Baranya County Remand Prison, where the Commissioner for Fundamental Rights was received by National Commander of the Hungarian Prison Service, Counsellor, Major General Dr Tamás Tóth and Colonel, Counsellor, Prison Commander Zsolt Dékány.
In addition to inspecting the Pécs Remand Prison, the Ombudsman inquired about the measures taken by the institution for the prevention of the coronavirus pandemic.

The Commissioner for Fundamental Rights of Hungary, Dr. Ákos Kozma, visited the Vámosszabadi Reception Centre, operated by the National Directorate-General for Aliens Policing.
Dr. Kozma was joined by Dr. Domonkos Wildner, General Director for Police Complaints. They were welcomed by Brigadier General Dr. Sándor Gömbös, Director General of the Directorate-General for Aliens Policing.

On 29 October 2024, Dr. Ákos Kozma, Commissioner for Fundamental Rights of Hungary, and Dr. Elisabeth Sándor-Szalay, Deputy Commissioner for the Rights of National Minorities in Hungary, attended the meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on Nationalities in Hungary. The session focused on Report no. B/7848 on the activities of the Commissioner for Fundamental Rights of Hungary and his deputies in 2023.
