On 21 September 2021, dr. Ákos Kozma congratulated Mrs. Tamásné Kulcsár, the recipient of a recognition called “School Guard of the Year” in Miskolc. The award was granted to Mrs. Kulcsár by Police Lieutenant-General dr. János Balogh, National Chief of Police. Mrs. Kulcsár performs her duties at the Gvadányi József Primary School in Rudabánya, which is located in the territory of competence of the Kazincbarcika Police Department.
On 21 September 2021, dr. Ákos Kozma held a technical briefing at the Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén County Police Headquarters in Miskolc, and announced the launch of a comprehensive monitoring activity related to the activities of school guards on duty in the county, from the perspective of the enforcement of fundamental rights.
On 15 September 2021, Dr. Ákos Kozma, Commissioner for Fundamental Rights and Dr. Gyula Bándi, Deputy Commissioner led a professional discussion with Dr. Tibor Markovics, National Park Director and his senior staff in Őriszentpéter, at the headquarters of the Őrség National Park Directorate.
Dr. Ákos Kozma, Commissioner for Fundamental Rights, and Dr. Elisabeth Sándor-Szalay, Deputy Commissioner, Ombudsman for the Rights of National Minorities living in Hungary, took part in an online consultation with the representatives of the Venice Commission (European Commission for Democracy through Law) on 14 September 2021.
