Commissioner for Fundamental Rights and his Deputy Visit Hortobágy National Park
On 30 June 2021, Ombudsman Dr. Ákos Kozma and his Deputy, Ombudsman for Future Generations Dr. Gyula Bándi paid a visit to the Hortobágy National Park.

Commissioner for Fundamental Rights and His Deputy, Ombudsman for Future Generations Plant Memorial Tree in Gúth Forest
On 30 June 2021, Commissioner for Fundamental Rights Dr. Ákos Kozma and Deputy Commissioner for Fundamental Rights, Ombudsman for Future Generations Dr. Gyula Bándi planted a whitebeam tree (Sorbus aria) in the memorial forest established in 2018 looking ahead to the World Hunting and Nature Exhibition to be held in autumn 2021 in Hungary. Whitebeam has been voted the tree of the year 2021 by forest experts and nature lovers.

On 25 June 2021, Dr. Ákos Kozma delivered a talk entitled “The Protection of Fundamental Rights in Everyday Life” at the conference organised on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the adoption of the Fundamental Law of Hungary.

Dr. Ákos Kozma Visits Eszterházy Károly University of Applied Sciences
On 16 June 2021, the Commissioner for Fundamental Rights paid an official visit to Eszterházy Károly University of Applied Sciences in Eger. Dr. Ákos Kozma was received by the Rector of the university, Dr. Pajtókné Dr. Ilona Tari.

Commissioner for Fundamental Rights and his Deputy, Ombudsman for Future Generations Plant Memorial Tree in Zselic Forest
On 7 June 2021, Commissioner for Fundamental Rights Dr. Ákos Kozma and Deputy Commissioner for Fundamental Rights, Ombudsman for Future Generations Dr. Gyula Bándi visited the Observatory of the Zselic Park of Stars, where they participated in a professional guided tour. Following that, they inspected several sites of the Zselic Forest managed by SEFAG Ltd., thanks to which they got a comprehensive overview of forest management in the region.
