Visit to Care Home in Komádi

On 6 May 2020, the Commissioner for Fundamental Rights paid a visit to the Komádi Human Services Centre of the Bihar United Social Institution (BESZI). Dr. Ákos Kozma was received by the head of the institution, Mrs. Mihályné Varga and the head of this unit, Mrs. Andrea Nagy-Tarsoly at the 184-bed residential home.

On 6 May 2020, the Commissioner for Fundamental Rights paid a visit to the Komádi Human Services Centre of the Bihar United Social Institution (BESZI). Dr. Ákos Kozma was received by the head of the institution, Mrs. Mihályné Varga and the head of this unit, Mrs. Andrea Nagy-Tarsoly at the 184-bed residential home.

The Ombudsman reviewed the living conditions of the persons with disabilities living in the care home, the implementation of the healthcare measures taken in order to prevent the spread of the coronavirus epidemic, as well as the fulfilment of the obligations in this respect.
