Ombudsman Visits Keszthely Police Department

In the framework of the Optional Protocol to the Convention Against Torture (OPCAT) National Preventive Mechanism (NPM), dr. Ákos Kozma and his staff members inspected the custody rooms of the Keszthely Police Department on 21 January 2021.

The Commissioner for Fundamental Rights was shown around at the police department by Police Lieutenant-Colonel dr. László Andor, who informed him about the measures taken in order to prevent the spread of the coronavirus pandemic, and the current situation of the responsibilities of the police department.
