Ombudsman Visits Border Crossing Point at Letenye

On 20 January 2021, Commissioner for Fundamental Rights Dr. Ákos Kozma paid a visit to the Letenye Motorway – Goričan II road border crossing point, where he was received by Chief Police Counsellor, Police Colonel László Berke, Head of the Nagykanizsa Police Department, Police Lieutenant-Colonel Viktória Gergácz, Head of Border Police Unit of the Nagykanizsa Police Department, and Police Lieutenant-Colonel Gábor Péter, Head of Border Police Service of the Zala County Police Headquarters.

On 20 January 2021, Commissioner for Fundamental Rights Dr. Ákos Kozma paid a visit to the Letenye Motorway – Goričan II road border crossing point, where he was received by Chief Police Counsellor, Police Colonel László Berke, Head of the Nagykanizsa Police Department, Police Lieutenant-Colonel Viktória Gergácz, Head of Border Police Unit of the Nagykanizsa Police Department, and Police Lieutenant-Colonel Gábor Péter, Head of Border Police Service of the Zala County Police Headquarters.

The Commissioner for Fundamental Rights inspected the control of traffic passing through the Hungarian–Croatian border, and the implementation of the healthcare measures adopted in connection with the coronavirus pandemic, and he was also provided with information about the current data on border traffic.
