On 26 January 2021, the Commissioner for Fundamental Rights paid a visit to the Baranya County Police Headquarters.

On 26 January 2021, the Commissioner for Fundamental Rights paid a visit to the Baranya County Police Headquarters.

The Ombudsman was received by Police Counsellor, Police Colonel dr. Zsolt Gulyás, Chief of County Police. During the meeting, the Ombudsman was provided with detailed information about the operation of the Baranya County Police Headquarters, the current public safety situation in the county, and the number of complaints filed against police measures. Furthermore, the Commissioner for Fundamental Rights was also briefed about the activity of school guards on duty in the county, and the healthcare measures taken in order to prevent the spread of the coronavirus pandemic.
