Dr. Ákos Kozma Attends Annual General Assembly and Conference of the International Ombudsman Institute

On 26 and 27 May 2021, the Commissioner for Fundamental Rights attended the annual General Assembly and global online conference of the International Ombudsman Institute, i.e. IOI.

On 26 and 27 May 2021, the Commissioner for Fundamental Rights attended the annual General Assembly and global online conference of the International Ombudsman Institute, i.e. IOI.

At the online conference entitled “Giving Voice to the Voiceless”, the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on the most vulnerable groups of society was discussed.

The International Ombudsman Institute established in 1978 is the only global organisation that serves the cooperation of some 200 independent ombudsman institutions of over 100 countries. The annual General Assembly and global conference of the International Ombudsman Institute is held every four years; the last one was held in Bangkok, Thailand in 2016.
