National Assembly Adopts Report of the Commissioner for Fundamental Rights and His Deputies on Their Activities in 2020

On 19 October 2021, the National Assembly adopted Report No. B/15278 on the activities of the Commissioner for Fundamental Rights and his Deputies in 2020.

On 19 October 2021, the National Assembly adopted Report No. B/15278 on the activities of the Commissioner for Fundamental Rights and his Deputies in 2020.

In 2020, the Office of the Commissioner for Fundamental Rights issued as many as 102 reports, which is almost a 50% increase over the year 2019 with a total of 57 reports issued. In 2020, the Office administered as many as 7,190 cases, which is a significant increase compared to the number of petitions submitted to the Office in 2019 (5,693). Almost one-quarter of the closed cases, i.e. a total of 800 petitions concerned the rights of the child, the rights of persons living with disabilities and the rights of the most vulnerable groups of society.
