null Commissioner for Fundamental Rights of Hungary greets winners of Odaadó (Devoted) award of Civilút Foundation

On 16 October 2023, Dr. Ákos Kozma greeted the winners of the Odaadó (Devoted) award of Civilút Foundation. The Odaadó award may be granted to those persons working in the social area who help persons with disabilities, the elderly and families with their sacrificial work, faith and perseverance. The award is given to persons who are out of the limelight, who work behind the scenes and who selflessly help others, sometimes over-stretching themselves.

“When we celebrate the award-winners, we celebrate children, persons with disabilities, the elderly and the members of other vulnerable groups, as well as those who help them. We reward civil courage. I am convinced that the Odaadó (Devoted) award does not only set the winner, the individual performance and value creation as an example but, through the award winners, also those professional workshops and institutions where they work, as well as the community with whom they build value”, said Commissioner for Fundamental Rights Dr. Ákos Kozma.
The event was attended, among others, by Chair of the Board of Trustees of Civilút Foundation Ms. Réka Ruttkay, State Secretary for Social Affairs of the Ministry of Human Capacities Mr. Attila Fülöp and Member of Parliament, Member of the Board of the Hungarian National Association of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (SINOSZ) Dr. Gergely Tapolczai.
