Ombudsman visits Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok County Police Headquarters

Ombudsman Dr. Ákos Kozma visited the Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok County Police Headquarters on 1 December 2022, accompanied by Dr. Domonkos Wildner, Director of Police Complaints of the OCFR.
The Commissioner for Fundamental Rights of Hungary was welcomed by Colonel, Chief of County Police Norbert Rádi, who provided the Ombudsman with detailed information on the operation of the Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok County Police Headquarters, including the current public security situation in the county, the number of complaints against police actions and the work of school guards on duty in the county.

The Commissioner for Fundamental Rights of Hungary, Dr. Ákos Kozma, visited the Vámosszabadi Reception Centre, operated by the National Directorate-General for Aliens Policing.
Dr. Kozma was joined by Dr. Domonkos Wildner, General Director for Police Complaints. They were welcomed by Brigadier General Dr. Sándor Gömbös, Director General of the Directorate-General for Aliens Policing.

The session focused on Report no. B/7848 on the activities of the Commissioner for Fundamental Rights of Hungary and his deputies in 2023.
