Commissioner for Fundamental Rights of Hungary Participates in OSCE Human Rights Conference
On 28 September 2022, Ombudsman Dr. Ákos Kozma took part in the conference on human rights and fundamental freedoms organised by the Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) of the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE).
At the conference organised in Warsaw, Poland, among others, the representatives of the 57 participating states of the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe, the OSCE institutions and implementing bodies, the national human rights institutions, as well as civil society organisations and the researchers with relevant experience in this field exchanged their view.

The Commissioner for Fundamental Rights of Hungary, Dr. Ákos Kozma, visited the Vámosszabadi Reception Centre, operated by the National Directorate-General for Aliens Policing.
Dr. Kozma was joined by Dr. Domonkos Wildner, General Director for Police Complaints. They were welcomed by Brigadier General Dr. Sándor Gömbös, Director General of the Directorate-General for Aliens Policing.

On 29 October 2024, Dr. Ákos Kozma, Commissioner for Fundamental Rights of Hungary, and Dr. Elisabeth Sándor-Szalay, Deputy Commissioner for the Rights of National Minorities in Hungary, attended the meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on Nationalities in Hungary. The session focused on Report no. B/7848 on the activities of the Commissioner for Fundamental Rights of Hungary and his deputies in 2023.
