Dr Ákos Kozma Visits Integrated Home for Persons with Disabilities, Mental Health and Addiction Patients

The Commissioner for Fundamental Rights paid a visit to the Dáka site of the Veszprém County Integrated Home for Persons with Disabilities, Mental Health and Addiction Patients on 14 October 2021. The Ombudsman was received by Head of Institution Ferenc Hanich.

The Commissioner for Fundamental Rights paid a visit to the Dáka site of the Veszprém County Integrated Home for Persons with Disabilities, Mental Health and Addiction Patients on 14 October 2021. The Ombudsman was received by Head of Institution Ferenc Hanich. 


At the seven sites of the institution, there are a total of 1026 residents, taken care of by a 564-member staff. It became necessary, for professional reasons, to establish a special unit at the Dáka site, which was added to the complex in 2018. In this unit, six persons with special needs and autism spectrum disorder, including one child, are cared for.

The session focused on Report no. B/7848 on the activities of the Commissioner for Fundamental Rights of Hungary and his deputies in 2023.
