Dr. Ákos Kozma Visits Diósjenő Forestry of Ipoly Forest Ltd.

On 18 October 2021, Dr. Ákos Kozma paid a visit to the Diósjenő Forestry of the Ipoly Forest Ltd. The Ombudsman, in the company of Péter Zambó, State Secretary for Forests and Sándor Szentpéteri, Deputy State Secretary for Forests, was informed about the operation of the Forestry.

On 18 October 2021, Dr. Ákos Kozma paid a visit to the Diósjenő Forestry of the Ipoly Forest Ltd. The Ombudsman, in the company of Péter Zambó, State Secretary for Forests and Sándor Szentpéteri, Deputy State Secretary for Forests, was informed about the operation of the Forestry.

The Commissioner for Fundamental Rights was received by László Kiss, Chief Executive Officer, Gyula Haraszti, Deputy Chief Technical and Forest Management Officer and Gábor Tóth, Deputy Chief Financial and Operations Officer.

Following the visit to the Závoz Hilltop and the Foltán Cross, Dr. Ákos Kozma was informed about the operation of the Ipoly Forest Ltd., including the forest management next to the continuous cover forestry, as well as about transitional forest management. The programme was concluded by inspecting the Wenckheim hunters’ house.

The session focused on Report no. B/7848 on the activities of the Commissioner for Fundamental Rights of Hungary and his deputies in 2023.
