On 4 June 2020, Commissioner for Fundamental Rights Dr. Ákos Kozma attended the memorial sitting of the National Assembly. During the event, Speaker of the National Assembly László Kövér delivered a speech, which was followed by the talk of President of the Republic János Áder.

On 29 May 2020, the Commissioner for Fundamental Rights paid a visit to seat institution of the Baranya County “Platánliget” Care Home in Bóly.

On 29 May 2020, Dr. Ákos Kozma paid a visit to the residential home – temporarily operating in Sellye – of the Szigetvár Special Home for Children of the Child Protection Centre of Baranya County.

On 29 May 2020, Dr. Ákos Kozma paid a visit to the border crossing point located between Barcs and Terezino Polje (Trézenföld). The Commissioner for Fundamental Rights surveyed the control of traffic passing through the border, as well as the implementation of the measures taken in order to prevent the spread of the coronavirus pandemic.

Dr. Réka Varga, Secretary General of the Office of the Commissioner for Fundamental Rights of Hungary became a member of the Management Board of the EU's Fundamental Rights Agency (FRA). The Vienna-based agency was established in 2007. It is the independent centre of reference and excellence for promoting and protecting human rights in the EU and provides independent, evidence-based advice to EU and national decision makers, thereby helping to make debates, policies and legislation on fundamental rights better informed and targeted.

On 21 May 2020, Dr. Ákos Kozma paid a visit to the Aszód Juvenile Reformatory, Primary School, Vocational School and Special School of the Ministry of Human Capacities. During the visit, Director Péter Puskás presented the institution, which provides correctional education and care for 103 boys.
