Commissioner for Fundamental Rights Visits “Gondviselés Háza” in Göd
On 26 May 2021, Ombudsman Dr. Ákos Kozma and the staff members of the Department for Equal Opportunities and Children’s Rights of the Office of the Commissioner for Fundamental Rights visited an institution operated by the Hungarian Charity Service of the Order of Malta, called “Gondviselés Háza” (House of Providence) – Home for Disabled Persons.

Ombudsman Visits Komárom Border Crossing Point
Dr. Ákos Kozma visited the Hungarian–Slovakian border at the Monostor and Elisabeth bridges in Komárom. He was received at the border crossing points by dr. Szilveszter Bolehradsky, Police Colonel, Chief Police Counsellor, Head of the Komárom Police Department.

Dr. Ákos Kozma Visits Komárom-Esztergom County Police Headquarters
On 26 May 2021, Commissioner for Fundamental Rights Dr. Ákos Kozma and Director for Police Complaints of the OCFR Dr. Domonkos Wildner paid an official visit to the Komárom-Esztergom County Police Headquarters, where they were received by Gábor Farkas, Police Brigadier General, Chief Police Counsellor, Chief of County Police, and Dr. Péter Szalay, Police Lieutenant-Colonel, Head of Office.

Ombudsman Monitors School Guards’ Activity in Újpest
On 26 May 2021, Ombudsman Dr. Ákos Kozma and the staff members of the Directorate of Police Complaints of the Office of the Commissioner for Fundamental Rights paid a visit to the Újpest Bilingual Technical School of Budapest Technical Vocational Centre, where they were received by acting director László Szever.

Commissioner and His Two Deputies Attend Session of Parliamentary Committee for Justice
On 26 May 2021, Dr. Ákos Kozma, Commissioner for Fundamental Rights, Dr. Elisabeth Sándor-Szalay, Deputy Commissioner for the Rights of National Minorities, and Dr. Gyula Bándi, Deputy Commissioner for the Interests of Future Generations attended the session of the Parliamentary Committee for Justice, where the parties discussed Report No. B/15278 on the activities of the Commissioner for Fundamental Rights and his Deputies in 2020.
