null Ombudsman Visits Border Police Remote Monitoring Control Centre in Mórahalom

On 30 September 2021, dr. Ákos Kozma paid a visit to the Border Police Remote Monitoring Control Centre in Mórahalom. The Commissioner for Fundamental Rights was received by Chief Police Counsellor, Police Major Károly Papp, Deputy Chief of the Csongrád-Csanád County Police Headquarters and Police Major László Papp, Head of Aliens Policing Department of the Law Enforcement Directorate of the Csongrád-Csanád County Police Headquarters.

The Ombudsman, accompanied by dr. Domonkos Wildner, Director of Police Complaints of the OCFR, was informed about the current migration situation, and he also inspected the work of the police officers on duty at the Centre.

Following the meeting, the visiting group inspected the temporary border fence at Röszke, as well as the work of the staff on duty at the border.
