Office of the commissioner for fundamental rights of hungary

The Commissioner for Fundamental Rights paid a visit to the Heves County Aranyhíd Integrated Social Care Institution on 12 October 2023.  Dr. Ákos Kozma, together with the staff members of the Disability Directorate of the Office of the Commissioner for Fundamental Rights, got informed about the operation of the 285-bed institution based in Füzesabony and inspected the living conditions of the residents. At the facility, special care and nursing services are provided to mental health patients and addicted persons.

The Ombudsman was shown the facility by Director of the Heves County Branch Office of the General Directorate for Social Affairs and Child Protection Mr. Zsolt Sinka and Head of Institution Ms. Edina Tatai.

The Ombudsman will draw up a report about the visit.
