null Ombudsman Monitors School Guards in Bács-Kiskun County

Dr. Ákos Kozma held a professional meeting at the Bács-Kiskun County Police Headquarters in Kecskemét.  He announced the launching of a comprehensive monitoring exercise with regard to the enforcement of fundamental rights concerning the work of school guards and border patrols serving in the county on 2 October 2023.


 

At the technical meeting, Police Brigadier General, Police Senior Counsellor, County Police Superintendent Dr. Zsolt Gulyás, as well as the senior staff members of the Bács-Kiskun County Police Headquarters, the appointed senior staff members of the National Police Headquarters (ORFK) and the district police coordinators of the school guard activity also took part. 
During the professional coordination meeting, the Ombudsman and Director of Police Complaints Directorate-General Dr. Domonkos Wildner were informed of the work, training and conditions of the performance of the responsibilities of the school guards serving in the county.  
After the meeting, the Commissioner for Fundamental Rights of Hungary paid a visit to the Hunyadi János Primary School of the Kecskemét Corvin Mátyás Primary School, where he found out about the work of the school guard serving there.
