Dr. Ákos Kozma Receives UNHCR’s Representative in Central Europe

On 31 May 2022, the Commissioner for Fundamental Rights received in his Office UNHCR’s Representative in Central Europe Mr. Roland Schilling. The meeting was also attended by Deputy Commissioner for Fundamental Rights, Ombudsman for the Rights of National Minorities Dr. Elisabeth Sándor-Szalay and Secretary General Dr. Balázs Könnyid.

On 31 May 2022, the Commissioner for Fundamental Rights received in his Office UNHCR’s Representative in Central Europe Mr. Roland Schilling. The meeting was also attended by Deputy Commissioner for Fundamental Rights, Ombudsman for the Rights of National Minorities Dr. Elisabeth Sándor-Szalay and Secretary General Dr. Balázs Könnyid.

During the consultation, Dr. Ákos Kozma gave information about the operation of the temporary regional offices and information points set up in Záhony, Beregsurány and the Budapest-based BOK Sports Hall in order to provide direct assistance to the refugees fleeing the war in Ukraine.
