Dr. Réka Varga, Secretary General of the Office of the Commissioner for Fundamental Rights participated in the online meeting of the legal working group of ENNHRI (European Network of National Human Rights Institutions), where the heads and experts of European national human rights institutions discussed COVID-19 pandemic-related legislation and its fundamental rights aspects, and shared experiences about national human rights institutions’ activities related to the pandemic.
During the exchange of views participants learned also about the unique experiences and activities of the Hungarian Ombudsman's Office with respect to visits to institutions during the pandemic.
