null Visits to Border Crossing Points at Tornyosnémeti and Bánréve

On 10 February 2021, Commissioner for Fundamental Rights Dr. Ákos Kozma visited the border crossing points between Tornyosnémeti (Hungary) and Milhosť (Migléc, Slovakia), and between Bánréve (Hungary) and Kráľ (Sajószentkirály, Slovakia), where he was received by Police Counsellor, Police Colonel Dr. Tamás Sándor Mecser, acting Chief of County Police, and Police Colonel Dr. Gábor Toldi-Tóth.

Accompanied by Director of Police Complaints of the OCFR Dr. Domonkos Wildner, the Ombudsman inspected the control of traffic passing through the Hungarian–Slovakian border, he was informed about the current data on border traffic, as well as about the implementation of the healthcare measures taken in order to prevent the coronavirus pandemic, and he also met with the police officers on duty at the border.
